Three Week Children’s Dance Workshop

For Students currently enrolled in Ballet 1A, 1B or 1C

Creative Movement, Ballet, Modern, Music for Dancers, Dance History and Choreograghy
(The workshop builds incrementally. Students choosing partial participation must consult registrar.)

Sample Schedule:

9:00 to 10:00 Hula
10:00 to 10:30 Dance History
10:30 to 10:45 Snack
10:45 to 11:15 Visual Art
11:15 to 12:00 Creative Movement
12:00 to 1:00 Lunch at Frog Park
1:00 to 2:00 Ballet or Modern Dance
2:00 to 2:30 Choreography
2:30 to 3:00 Journaling and Stretching

Danspace has offered Children’s dance classes in the Rockridge area since 1985. The philosophy of the school is that building confidence and self-esteem at a young age promotes future learning success and happiness.

This workshop is focused on creating a safe and loving environment for students to explore their own authentic expression and creativity.

The workshop will culminate in an open showing on Friday, August 27th at 2:00 pm
